The annual Qur’an competition for students of Asian competencies took place on Saturday, 15 Safar 1439H (corresponding to 4 November 2017). 42 students from different classes took part: 5 Juz, 10, 15, 20 and 30 Juz. The contest was conducted by inviting the contestant one by one according to their level or amount of memorization. The examiners then asked three questions. The contestants generally answered accordingly with the questions they were asked. The student, contestant Mohammed Hamka, took the attenttion of his fellow students and judges, as he answered all the questions. The purpose of this competition is to know the depth of students’ memorization of the Holy Quran and to encourage their desire for it.
