Provisions of endowment with money Introduction Waqf is one of the desirable religious practices in Islam. In a hadeeth narrated from the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) he said: Ibn 'Umar said: 'Umar ibn al-Khattab said: I said: O Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) I have never received money that is dearer to me than a hundred shares from Khaybar, so I wanted to give charity with it. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Make it an endowment and give charity with its fruit for the sake of Allah, may He be exalted." [Sunan Ibn Majah]. Waqf Language: Waqf
