Abstract

Islamic microfinance has emerged as a critical mechanism for economic development, particularly in the context of marginalized communities. This paper explores the contributions of Islamic microfinance institutions to small business development and entrepreneurship. It also analyzes the social impact of Islamic microfinance on marginalized communities, with a focus on poverty alleviation, empowerment, and community development. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, case studies, and empirical data, this study highlights the unique characteristics of Islamic microfinance that distinguish it from conventional finance and emphasizes its role in promoting sustainable economic growth.
